Reliable, but not too expensive. 1 of the 4 kids can wear a lap/shoulder belt, the rest need child car seats.

An SUV is not my top pick due to gas mileage and overall cost, and we already have a minivan.

Partial to Toyota's, but from my research, the only car they have that will seat 6 is the Avalon with a bench seat, and they only started adding that feature in 2003.

Any ideas? Thanks.

(I'd prefer a Hummer, but my wife thinks it would be a bad idea )
