If I tapped or shook my keys (or, I guess, if they swung as I braked), the doors would unlock/disarm ... the resulting hazard light flash is part of that (I might have heard the doors redundantly unlocking if I didn't always have the radio on so loud ). I cracked-open the key fob found that the "unlock" button on the keyless entry remote/fob was stuck. There are three small buttons with a little metal pop up inside and the popup for the unlock button was permanently flattened. If I even touched it, rather than pressed it, it would trigger. I removed the popup altogether (seems to be only a spring-type function) and it seems fine now. |
