Hey everyone,

I have a 91 Nissan XE 1.6 5 spd manual transmission that
is giving me problems.

- When I downshift into 2nd, it pops out of gear, but if
if I accelerate and shift into 2nd its ok.

- When I shift into 4th and release the clutch it pops out
if I don't hold it down.

- When putting the car into reverse and accelerate, the front tires lock
up when I clutch in and still have it in gear.

What could be the problem? How much are tranny rebuilds or used ones
going for this days.
