I think that replacing the AWD system in the C4 with two super high torque
electrics at the front would make for an awesome machine. Mitsubishi showed
that on the concept version of the new Eclipse, but it didn't make the
production version.

Didn't the earlier Dr Porsche hold a patent for electric drive hubs... would
be interesting if they had 4 wheel drive with high torque, powered hubs and
a small motor to provide DC current...

acceleration is astounding.
