I have a 1997 Toyota Corolla that will no longer start. It use to
start with no problem but ran really rough. It eventually started to
hesitate when I accelerated. I had a friend look at it and he notice
that my distributor cap was cranked. I changed the part out that out
and it seems to run even worse. I cant even get it started now. I have
not touched any thing on it excepted the distributor cap , replaced
the rotor and I replaced the air filter.


Please help I'm stranded...

If you have the ignition coil inside the distributor cap - check that.

Make sure you got the plug wires back in the right holes in the distributor
cap.
