So as some folks accused Republican voters as being dumb for voting Bush
back a second time, blame must also be placed on Democrat voters.....

In reality we Republican and Democrat voters who did vote GWB back in
were smarter. We voted for a winner not a whiner, LOL

I wonder how the vote recount is doing in Ohio? Seems like I read where
they would not be doing recounts until after the election has been
certified and after Dec 13. Besides the election was decided when kerry
gave up. They can't come back after giving up and change their mind.
That would be unfairness, LOL

Concession speeches don't mean squat, legally. Judge said no recount until
official count is done.
The point of the recount is to show the need for a paper trail. Hopefully
it will.

Heard an interesting historical comment the other day. When LBJ got the
voting rights act passed he said that the democrats would lose the southern
block for a generation. Looks like he was wrong. More like 2 generations.

Perhaps you're right about "don't mean squat", but where does that leave
the Republican party and GWB if Kerry suddenly decides the election is
not over. Does the Republican party then have a chance at court actions
and recounts in other states which were also close??

I, for one, hope that the lefty-loonies keep up this paranoia and
stupidity. For a long, long time. Four years, even.

The entertainment value, not to speak of their self-emasculating
rhetoric and self-imposed distractions, are all just too good for
the Republican Party.

Depends on state law and constitutional deadlines.

I'm glad the Republicans are in full control. When the dollar collapses

there will be no one else to blame for a change. Have you noticed how China
is getting longterm contracts for oil from Russia and Iran?

That could be the one bright spot. But, the republicans have become
masters at passing the blame.
