E39 wipers don't work |

The wipers on my 1998 540i just stopped working. They just do absolutely
nothing when I turn them on. I checked the fuse, it looked good, but I
replaced it anyways and still no dice. Any ideas? My dad (it's his car)
called a guy at Roundel and he said that it's probably just an electronic
thing that a mechanic needs to reset, but I'm open to any other ideas since
it's raining today, and after today the shop is closed until Monday.
