I saw the first car delivered to the dealer that came with a Heads Up Display.
I now know why the navigation system is a required option for the HUD, as it's
basically just a display for it. Almost as an afterthought, a speedometer was
added.
I'm really disappointed, because my Corvette has a HUD and GM did a really great
job with it, I rarely have to look down into the cockpit. Hopefully BMW wont't
treat it as just a gimmick and will add other data such as RPM, fuel, temp,
pressure, etc.
