is it a good idea to put vaseline on battery terminal posts to prevent corrosion?

what can i use to prevent the screws on my license plates to rust? WD40? or vaseline?

if anyone has any more simple and easy tips like this, i would like to know them.

Krylon spray will do a good job of sealing the bolts. You can use it on the battery posts too.

Better yet, Buy a spray can of dry silicone. It works the best since silicone repelles water.

as for your plate screws. There are a 2 piece plastic cap you can get at your local fastener store. The screw goes through the bottom piece and the other piece snaps over the head so you have a nice neat look!
