Can anyone help?

Out of nowhere, i can't lock the driver's side door.
It'll lock from the inside but when i try to use the key from the outside,
it won't move. Also, when i try to open it with the key, nothing happens.

Can anyone help as i don't won't to take it to a garage if it's something
minor?

Is the key going all the way in when you turn it?

Yeah, the key goes in fine, it just doesn't turn to the left to unlock the
door.

inside the the door there is a few rods the actually move back and forth when u turn the key it is possible the the little plastic clip holding it to the lock or the key mechanism it self is broken or it fell off some times happens if u recently had a lock out done from caa or a tow truck or locksmith . hope this helps you.you can take apart the door panel from the inside and remove the plastic but a way so u can put it back on when done and then you will be able to see the rods and the locking mechanism or at least feel it ther should be two opr morods going to it and when u turn the key you will be able to see how it works and repair it.
