Short and to the point. Recently the vehicles lights started to flash once each time it's started. Now the vehicle won't start at all. If I check the headlights to verify the condition of the charged battery the headlights come on but will not shut off. The only way to remedy the headlight to the off position is to disconnect the negative lead off the battery. When the lead is re-attached the lights will flash once. Then once you return to the drivers seat just turn the key and now the vehicle will start. This situation happened two days in a row, so I drove the beast to a Ford dealer for repairs. They seem to be dumb founded and at this point they feel the alarm system may be causing the problem. At $65.00 an hour I can't afford for the dealers techs to keep guessing. Anyone heard of this problem and what is the cheapest solution. Once again the van will not start each morning unless you remove and replace the negative battery lead....Please help, I sure need it....Tennessee John
