Anyone with similar-problem- how was it fixed?
Hi! |
I'm not shure if this is the same error I had with my 2003 Micra 1.2
Visia+. Two times the engine stopped and gave error 'failure in
engine, contact nissan service'. After the engine cooled it run again
ok. Both errors was repaired in service by changing the sensor that
meters rotation speed. Third time the engine refused to run over 3500
rpm. Again they changed the same sensor! Then I contacted Nissan
service and required full checkout to avoid fourth time!
The Nissan service took my car for two days and then they called that
the error reason was found. The problen was with the wires that give
power (electricity) to that sensor. Bad contact or something like
that. The changed the wires (kabels) and told me that now it will work
as planned!
Let's see how long I/my wife can now drive without problems.
