I'll be shopping for new tires for my 2002 Altima soon. So I'm looking for
recommendations on tires.
What I'm most interested in is a quiet riding tire. The last 3 sets of tires
I've bought for my other vehicles have been rated for high mileage and all
that good stuff but they've been very noisy.
Any recommendations?

Costco recommends for the six cylinder Altima a Michelin Energy MXV4 S8
215/55R17 Luxury Touring Tire. Cost is $165 including everything.

I recently took my Altima on a run from the SF Bay Area to Vancouver, BC;
and return. The road noise was greatest with concrete road. An asphalt
roadway was much quieter!

If you have an Altima four cylinder, I have no suggestion for tires.
