1998 Audi A4 , V6,ABS light is constantly on with a flashing brake light on
the dash,no codes for ABS system and can't be reset. Brake fluid level is
ok and brake pads are 70% worn out. Any answers or solutions

Might be a symptom of the, fairly common, ABS controller failure.

Correction:
- Pay dealer $1,800 for the part and $500+ to install

or

check in the AudiWorld A4 FAQ for link to a company that refurbishes them for
about $500

Got mine repaired last week for $250 + shipping here:

Quick turn around. Dealer wanted $3000+ but was kind enough to tell me that
many places repair them on the internet.
