I am trying to install the starter in my 41 Chrysler royal it has a 6 cyl
251cc flat head (original engine) has anyone got schmetics or pictures of
the hookup and installation (does the solenoid hang down below the starter
or sit on top when the starter is installed?) thanks for any help.

I worked on lots of those old Chrysler Corp 6s but it was 40 to 50 years
ago. My recollection is that the solenoid was on top. Yea, I know it was;
I remember taking the starter down from the engine.
