How concerned should I be about my stickshift (and therefore, the
transmission) adjusting itself about a 1/4" when I take my foot off the gas
pedal and then re-depress it while driving? Is there some mount thing
becoming defective down there?

P.S. Is it just me or does the above posting sound kind of dirty when

My '89 Colt Vista did that in 3rd gear for over 200K miles.
