I'm having trouble Googling the current GDP--can someone point me in the
right direction?

The CIA says....

The US has the largest and most technologically powerful economy in
the world, with a per capita GDP of $37,800

You do the math...

I thought this was the "toyota" newsgroup.

Why is this boob asking about GDP?

This USED to be a Toyota Owner newsgroup. But about 6-8 months previous to
the last election (re-election of George Bush), it became rather polarized /
political. Just post your Toyota questions and ignore the other 91% if it
bothers you. Don't even try to correct it.

It is. That's why I put (OT) in the subject line. Since you are apparently
capable of figuring out what (OT) means, I will explain it. (OT) means the
post is OFF TOPIC. If you don't want to read posts which are not on the
topic of the newsgroup, don't click them.

Why do you sign yourself as Jackass here? Perhaps you are Jackass Ernie Sty.
Are you related to the Pig Sty dynasty by any chance?

Huw

Which is correct?:

1) Huw, let's talk about oils.
2) Let's talk about oils, Huw.

BTW Huw, there is a comma (,) preceding the word "jackass" AND, "jackass" is
not capitalized. If "jackass" were capitalized, it would be a proper name.
;-)

Well, you sure as heck won't find it in a TOYOTA based newsgroup. Why not
try one actually related to what you are looking for??

Googling "USA GDP 2003" points to the CIA World Factbook which lists
a 2003 GDP of $10.99 trillion, est. Other entries give the Q3 growth at
8.2%,
the largest in 20 years.

Your posting is also OT, why not try filtering and leave the rest of us
alone.

Because they have been abandoned to the spammers, and there seem to be a lot
of people here who keep up with this stuff. If you don't like reading
off-topic posts, don't click on posts that habe (OT) in the subject line.
If you don't even want to see the posts, click the header and hit "delete."
If you don't feel that's enough, "plonk" the people who post off topic
(making it so you never see any of their posts.)
