For 2005 Chevy has thrown Henry Ford's concept of " Any Color You Want
As Long As Its Black" out the window.

Silverstone Metallic has been added to the list of colors for the 2005
Impala SS.
A new grille has been added sporting a diamond mesh pattern.

The console mounted flip open ash tray has been eliminated. In its place
is a round bore for a third can of Coke, or possible the optional round
drop in ashtrays you can order for around $15.00 as a Smokers Package
Option.

If your stopped at a light next to a 2005 Impala LS, the LS's identity
is a secret. Only the trunklid has a name plate. Impala insignia's
remain in place on the roof quarter & trunklid.

Of the 2005 cars I saw today, OnStar is now Standard on all model
levels of Impala, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix & Bonneville.
