BMW E87 - Anyone around who ordered it? |
|
|
Hi there!
I'm desperately awaiting the delivery of my BMW 120d (E87) and wondered, if
there are some people around that received their E87 already or are waiting
for it. I'm thankful for any news about that, maybe someone has got pictures
of its car (E87)??

I collected my 120d yesterday evening (ordered 24th Sept). Took it for a
100 mile trip today and am very impressed. The drivers manual says not to
exceed 3500 rpm or 90 mph for the first 1250 miles so I haven't really
tested the performance yet. However you can certainly tell when the turbo
kicks in around 2400 rpm (more noticeble than on the 118d I test drove).
I previously had an E46 318ti and find the handling and road holding of the
120d to be much sharper, although the steering does feel heavier at slow
speeds.
Was there anything in particular you wanted to know?

He just wants it now, rather than tomorrow. He is "desperate"...
