2005 Hybrid Highlander in Production Yet??? |

Does anyone know if Toyota has given the green light for production of
the 2005 Highlander hybrid? My local dealer says not yet, but what do
those guys ever really know? ;)

According to Toyota's web site, the 2005 Highlander hybrid will be available
in earl 2005. Go to http://www.toyota.com/highlander/, then to the "Unveil
the 2005 Highlander Hybrid here" link.

I heard they were going to delay into until April, along with the Hybrid
Lexus SUV, to make sure they could meet demand for them.

According to Central Atlantic Toyota the Introduction of the
Highlander will be between the June/ July 2005 time period. It was
pushed back in earily November due to the success of the Pre-order of
the Lexus Hybrid. which was originally set for Feburary but, pushed
back to April due to the anticipated response and pre-Ordered units!!
That was the latest "official" update on the 7 Nov 2004 !!
If I hear anything else on the subject I’ll be happy to post it here
when available!!
