I've always loved Ferrari road cars, but I'm a German-car nut through
and through, and since Porsche, Audi and VW (my favs) don't enter F1,
my allegence goes to Williams BMW and McLaren Mercedes, although I
don't have a particular favorite between those two. I have respect for
Minardi because the guy is operating on a shoestring compared to what
the other teams have and he actually had the balls to fight Bernie
MotherF%$^ING Eccelstone in Australia over the poor implementation of
the aerodynamic rules. It's gonna be interesting to see what goes on,
because the Concorde Agreement expires in 2007 and I know that nobody
(except Ferrari and Sauber, who needs Ferrari to survive) have signed
on to extend the agreement. If the ridiculous tire regulations don't
get repeeled and Eccelstone doesn't make some amends (yea, right), I'm
thinking the other teams may actually make good on their threats to
leave and from a new league come 2007.
