Ok my fundraising activities are continuing - I will get that new M5 and I
have launched a raffle/draw to win a truly fantastic Oris official BMW
Williams chronograph worth £450.00.

It's just £2.00 to enter and the chances of winning will be far greater than
the lottery - so if you fancy somethnig very beautiful and fantsatically
made to compliment your Beemer, do have a go.

Good luck and thanks for your support :)

Not to be a wet blanket, but maybe just a word to the wise?

I'm pretty sure that this kind of gambling is illegal in most of the world.

Watch yourself (no pun intended).

Hi Fred,

Great pun even if not intended - thank for advice I will check out, I had a
feeling if the rules etc were all clear then it was ok, but had better do
some research to make doubly sure.

Believe it or not it was... I think.

Philosophical question: If you write a sentence and then look back and
realize there is a pun in it (good or otherwise), is it then intentional?

That is exactly what happened.

Perhaps it became intentional since I saw it and still released it as
is. But then that wouldn't that be the case anytime some claims "no pun
intended." The mere fact that the author recognized there was a pun
there at all would be proof of its "intentional-ness".

Such deep thoughts... ;-)

But then maybe it construes the author may feel others would not catch the
inspired moment of punography and hence write the claim, no pun intended, to
ensure the moment is well and truly captured by all who view. Or of course
to prevent a series of threads to emerge asking if indeed was there an
intended pun in the sentence.

A thought perhaps not to lose time over!

Have you learned from Sir Humphrey Appleby?

This is getting philosophically, linguistically and dangerously off-topic.

DAS you are correct it is getting serioulsy off topic and I will abandon all
right now.

So the key question is:

Will the forthcoming M6 be faster exciting than the E60 M5 or is my 2002i
still the dogs!?
