340 in a Buick? Normally they came with 350s . 340s were stroked 318 in
Chrysler products.

Hi,
YES... Buick did make a 340 .... ( not 350 ) in the late 60's ! They were
good motors, with lots of "Zoom Zoom" to quote a modern carmaker.
Parts.... try Hemmings Motor News.

Or do a goggle search for Buick 340, lots of URLs popped up. Side note, I
didn't think they made a 340 either. I had a Special 300 cu. in., good gas
mileage.

Well Molly be damned. You guys are absolutely right. It looks like it was
for only the 1967 year. Is this correct? A one year model?

The 340 V8 was made in 1966 and 1967. In 1968 they went to a 350, and in
'65 they list a 300. ( Actually a 301 )
