Cancel the GPS option. BMW has one of the most user-surly GPS interfaces on
the planet.

Don't. You can get a Garmin 2610 and a 2GB Compact Flash card for under
$950. Moreover, it's also portable, so you can take it with you on trips,
to another car, etc. European maps are $300-500 depending on the version
you buy. I just got an M3 and I"m super happy with the Garmin...
