Just bought a set of factory steel wheels for the snow tires on my
Sienna. I got them from a local toyota dealer here in Toronto. They
charged me $70 (Canadian) each. Felt good about the purchase because
even the cheapo ones made of recycle steel carried by Walmart is $60 a
pop. Factory steel wheels from toyota are usually of very good quality
in my experience and takes many years before they rust.

Dealer parts are not always bad deals after all.

Those same wheels could be had at a wrecking yard here for $15 each.
Takeoff rims are also available inexpensively at tire stores that specialize
in selling fancy rims.

True, but you have to be careful buying rims at a wrecking yard -
how do you think they got there? (Answer: Because the car got
totaled.) You have to get the yard to agree to exchange them if one
or two rims turn out to be bent when you go to mount the tires.

Tire stores are a good source for cheap steel "take-off" wheels -
but you have to know what rim profile your car can use, so you get
ones that fit. If your car is supposed to use "15x6 JJ" profile rims,
that's what you need to buy.

Or you can spend a few more bucks and get aftermarket "designer"
steel rims that look a bit better than stone stock rims without
hubcaps, and are still semi-disposable when they get rusty or bent.
