Question about 1968 Ford Torino For Sale |
|
|
Pardon me if this is off topic for this group.
I have for sale a 1968 Ford Torino GT (coupe, not fastback). Although
the fastback was more popular, I understand that there were not very
many coupes made (comparatively). My father was the original owner
and it's been sitting in a barn since 1995. I would describe it as
"easily restorable". Other than being filthy, there's nothing major
wrong with it. A couple months ago, it was removed from the barn and
covered with a tarp, which has caused some surface rust in two places.
These rusty places are just through the paint at this time. It was
running when parked and the engine is not locked up. I haven't tried
to start it and don't plan to go to that trouble.
My plans were to take some pictures and put it on eBay. Before doing
that I thought I'd ask to see if anyone here is interested and perhaps
get a feel for what it's worth.
It is located in central North Carolina. This disposable email
address will remain good for a couple weeks unless I start getting a
lot of spam through it. Please email directly because I don't
subscribe to this group.
