OT - Cheney goes to hospital for a cold |
|
|
Sorry to you folks who cannot afford health insurance. We need to save the
money so the VP can go to the hospital for a common cold.
You guys who got hurt in Iraq.... we will get to you as soon as possible.
There are only about 300000 on the backlog list. Any day now...

Oh my god..... gotta go.... the VP just sneezed again. Need to call

Like Reagan use to say, there you go again, why don't you get you
facts straight for a change Art. No injured veteran of any war
is denied the medical attention they need, period. ANY military
man with a service connected injury or illness gets coverage by
the VA in a VA hospital or the newer ever growing number of more
efficient out patient centers. The only 'backlog' is of vets who
do NOT have service connected needs or are not retired from the
military but served. Do some research. Any person that served at
least one hitch in the military can get free medical care and
drugs for life from the VA, but it seems to me there are many who
can afford to pay for their own health insurance but want to get
the free ride. I served in the US Navy from '44 till '47 so I'm
eligible even though I have more money than me, my wife and my
five grown children can spend in our lifetimes. I'm one on the
'backlog' of eligible vets but I don't even use Medicare why
should I take from the VA?

Well, if Iraq had become a democracy after we laid waste to Baghdad, all
would be good. I mean, really, how many cities do we need to waste before
democracy catches on?? How stupid are these people?? |

We had to waste all of Germany before they got the message. |

Who's footing the bill for Edwards wife? Hhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?
I'm sure cancer treatment is much more than a cold virus, but leave it to
a liberal to complain the cost to make someone well. Have you heard of any
conservatives complaining about Edwards wifes cancer treatment? Not a one.
This shows how selfish tyou liberal democrats are, also shown in the
charitible contributions made by blue states.
|
I don't believe I've read a more mean spirited post in this group. I
certainly would hope that no one complains about someone getting hospital
treatment for cancer. |

But its OK to complain about cost for shortness of breath on someone who |
had a bad heart? If you want to read a more mean spirited post, go and
read yours. You may not like Dick Cheney, but he is someones son,
someones husband, someones dad, someones grandpa etc. |

Four heart attacks. First one when he was 37.

He had a cold. My 89 year old father doesn't spend your medicare money and
secondary insurance at the hospital for a cold. |

How was he supposed to know he had a cold?
Last I checked he isn't a doctor...
Sounds like he did the best thing...under the circumstances.
What should he have done, Art???

Quit smoking in 1978 when he had his first heart attack instead of waiting |
22 years to quit. |

You must lead a dull life, since you appear to be such a negative
personality. You never seem to have anything positive to say
about anything. It begs the question to you, is a glass half
empty or half full?
If your father has chest pains and shortness of breath, as did
the VP, I suggest you take him for immediate medical attention at
a facility that has a heart/lung machine, not give him cough
medicine.. ;)
