Hey another one, where does the other end of the oil pump shaft goes, the
first one link with the shaft coming out of the oil pump, but for the other
one, where does it connect and how does it work?

I'm going to take a really wild guess and say your working on a small block
Chevy??

The other end of the shaft is connected to the distributor. The camshaft
drives the distributor and the distributor drives the oil pump.

You could get a cheap Haynes manual to see how the engine is assembled and
works.
