Hello

For the base 2.5 model, I am considering buying a used one with a manual
transmission and might have to get an auto tranny installed.

Anyone have any idea as to how much that would cost?

Not even remotely worth it. The trans is electronically controlled and
integrated into the cars electronics. It would be several thousand if
you could even find someone to attempt it.
