Studded tires will reduce your stopping distance on ice, |
nothing else will. I'm not sure about using snow tires on the front of
a FWD, would it corner, or will the lugs fight the sidewall. You could
use them on the rear, if they grind in front. I like to run worn out
snows on the front of my RWD Chevy. New snows don't work that well,
worn ones seem to combine great directional stability with an acceptable
ride. |
