2002 X5. In the rear left trunk where the CD changer goes is a plug (not
the 2 and 6 pin CD changer plugs) similar to a female RS 232 or parallel
printer cable. I didn't count the number if pins. Is this plug possibly for
the NAV unit? If not, what?

I guest your X5 is pretty much the same as mine are you installing a 6-pack
BMW cd or an aftermarket version either way The wiring in the left rear area
you have the wires for the CD and the NAV and also wiring for the phone
system they all come pre wired so do be careful.

The DB25 is part of the pre-wiring for the phone.

The instructions said to use Windows 98 or better, so I installed RedHat.
