Hi

some weeks ago i posted a problem report about my E46 Hifi-System
which permanently produced a silent but very disturbing noise.

Changing any component and checking the wiring didn´t help.

Now the problem has changed from a permanent silent noise to a
permanent very loud noise. Furthermore, the GPS Signal was very weak
(nearly no signal when not on open fields)

TOday my BMW dealer told my that because of many problems with the
tuner (or complete radio part?) BMW has modified this part and ceased
delivering the old ones.

I am not sure whether or not it solves the problem, but if anyone has
the same, try contacting your Dealer again and ask for the new part.
Maybe a good idea, especially if it is still under warranty.
