I thought I was being nice, hey let's fill up my husband's commuter car and then take it through the car wash... but when I got home and saw the gas tank door open and the cap off and just dangling there I wanted to cry.

I am up tonight trying to figure out if I just need some dry gas or if I should get the tank emptied. I was hoping there was an opinion out there somewhere. Its a Hyundai Accent, It had a full tank of gas, I do not know if there is a gas flap thingy in that year and it was a touchless power wash, with the works of course. #@#4

I really doubt there is much water in the gas tank. Go to your local auto parts store and get some dry gas or what they recommend and try that first. You may have to use a couple of treatments.
