I have a 2002 windstar that has had two occurances where the OBD II code indicated that both banks were running too lean. I have been able to clear the codes both times. There have been no other codes in the memory along with the "too lean" codes. The vehicle has about 75K miles. Any ideas what might be causing the problem?

I have worked at a ford dealership for 23 years. You need to change the o-rings and bolts that hold the lower plastic intake to the aluminum intake.
Ford had a tsb on this concern.

it is a possibility that after the air flow sensor that there is a "hole" in the intake tube...
