Hello All, Newbie here. Please be kind.

I know i did wrong, but, first time.

I was travelling doing around the speed limit on the road, when roadworks with a different speed limit appeared, too late, i think i have been caught doing 63 in a 40 mph roadworks area. The speed limit on the road was the national speed limit, 70mph, but for some strange reason i entered it alittle faster than i should of. Will be the first speed ticket, points, i have ever had in 30 years not even a car accident or claim.

My fault of course, not paying enough attention.

3 Questions please.

(1) How many points for going 23 miles approx over the limit?

(2) How much will the fine be??

(3) How soon after is the latest i should receive the dreaded letter??
