That could be argued....

But the United States Air Force is an honorable career and presents a
hell of a lot of advantages.

One of my friends retired as an Air Force Colonel. He started as an
enlisted man...earned his college degree and retired a Colonel.

The Navy would be my second choice, but I can't swim.

If you 'need' to swim from a big warship...you might as well pack it

THIS is true. My third choice would be subs, but I couldn't handle the

Actually, the reason I joined the Navy was a few Submarine films that

It really intrigued me...but I am like you...the long cruises

The long cruises on the water were not so bad....cause we got to go

You have to go thru some really stringent psychological tests. Can
you imagine what would happen with 'learning'? ROFL

They'd break him down just like any other punk that goes through boot
camp. It wouldn't even take very long. The loudest punks are the the
easiest to take apart.

Did you notice how much more press Murtha got than did Lieberman? Curious

We never hear from the folks on the left that FDR was never in the military,
not even the guard. We never hear from the left of FDR deception prior to
12/7/41. FDR at the time, like President Bush, did exactly what was
necessary to protect the county no matter what the opposition thought we
should do.

December 7th, 1941

Thanks for reminding people of the original attack on American soil.
It really wasn't that long ago and so many people today don't even
realize that anniversary has come. I wonder how long before
September
11, 2001 is forgotten also.

December 7 is also a special day for me in a different way; that's
the
date I entered the Air Force, just many years later.

I don't think truly patriotic Americans will forget December 7, 1941.
Especially those of us with family members who served in WWII.

I do think that, unfortunately, Americans have forgotten how to lead a
war to success.

Americans have not forgotten...it is the Democratic party...in their
drive to get back in power....that has forgotten what it is to be an
American...

A lot of Americans are still sorting exactlhy what we should do with
this guy in the White House who seems to have a problem following the
truth.

Not sure I have any idea who you are referring to.

Perhaps you are talking about a visiting Democrat...like the traitor
John Kerry?

Interesting isn't it, how the media's political bias rear it's ugly head
in subtle ways from time to time.
