Hi everyone, I was wondering if you guys could chip in some opinions on
the price of a 98 Max GLE with 74,000.00?

My neighbor is selling it for $8900.00, with all the goodies, including
the heated leather and side airbags. I think I can offer him $8500.00
for it, but I wonder: is this a good buy for a nearly 8-year-old car? I
tend to think so...

I'm in Seattle, and it came from Denver, and his wife was the original
owner. Any thought or concerns you might have?

I think so. Although not a bargain, it's probably a fair price if it's
in good to excellent condition.

Kelly Blue Book says around $8,020 (Good with standard equipment) to
$9,055 (Excellent with all options) for a GLE in the Seattle area.

That isn't a steal or anything but about right depending on the local
market. I payed $8500 for my 99 GLE with only 31K and every option
available.
