Seat fabric stain removal? |
|
|
Do any of you dealership pros know a good, and preferably easy, way to
remove a coffee stain from a cloth TRD seat? It's not a heavy stain,
but it's noticeable.
I want to keep this truck 'till it's dust, so I'd like to get the stain out.
Thanks!

Take it to a detailer that has an extractor. It'll come right out.
Or, you can try Turtle Wax or equivalent 'carpet shampoo' and a little
elbow grease.
Or, rent a carpet machine that has a 4" metal attachment used to clean
upholstery and some carpet cleaner designed for the machine.
These are the easiest ways. |

I have had excellent luck with Simple Green, a soft bristle brush like a
fingernail brush, and some paper towels to blot out after scrubbing.

You're welcome!
I'm an avid coffee drinker and have successfully used Simple Green many
times.

I have in the past used a product called "clear magic" and removed
grease from a white sofa with it. Simple Green also excellent. I use
it for prespotting when I use the carpet machine in the house.
