I'm wondering if I can get $$ back from the Body Shop.
My insurance company paid a local Body Shop $10K to replace several
panels on my new car after it got hit by hail.
The body shop charged $10K, but the invoice says they only did PDR + a
new paint job.
Although the car looks great, I assume they actually did less then $10K
of work. If less then $10K of work was done, I would rather *I* pocket
the $$ instead of the body shop.
I assume this is common practice for body shops and I'm guessing when I
bring it up the will have some clever answer to get out of it.
Anyone go through this before? Any insite?
