2004 Nissan Murano has this CVT. Any idea on how reliable of this
feature. In case something goes wrong, is local auto shop able to fix
that? High tech does not mean always good to have yet.

Wonder if they use a special belt in the trans.
I think some of the honda civics use a cvt also which has a belt.
I would think the belt need changing or maybe adjustment need with wear.
Might check maintenance manual and see if they recommend a replacement
mileage for the part. Bet belt is only a dealer item and expensive. Call
around for price quote.

How many "local shops" can really fix the late model electronic automatics?
