89 toyota Corolla
My daughter was trying to jump off here car at school and she hooked the
jumper cables up back wards. I have replaced the fuses on the battery and
the fuse box. Replaced the battery. It would not run right after I did
that. It was like it was not firing or not pumping fuel. I replaced the
alternator and it cranked right up like it should for about 10 minutes and
then it started missing again and now wont even crank at all. Anyone know
what the next step is??

Check all the fused. You will have some inside the car also. Look for
fuseable links too. And there is a remote chance you destroyed a
component by reversing the polarity too.

I pulled every fuse that I could find and checked it. I did have to change
out one in the inside for the ignition. I can't find anything else that
could be wrong. Could the fuel pump be electric and it messed it up?
