My 2000 328i runs fine and all the lights are working properly on the
outside, but my dashboard indicators are behaving strangely.

My turn signal indicator lights no longer work on the dash, but do
outside the car. If any indicator is turned on prior to starting (eg
seat belt light, bright lights, door ajar light, or even the turn
signal indicator, then they will stay on after the car has started.
In other words, the signal light will continue to flash or the high
beam indicator or seat belt indicator will stay on despite shutting
them off. The only way to stop them is to shut the car off, ensure
these things are turned off and then restart the car. None of these
indicators work properly while the car is in operation.

Any ideas?
