Consider UMCOR.
From the website:
"When you give to the United Methodist Committee on Relief you can be
sure that your money will go where you want it to go. One hundred
percent of your tax-deductible gifts go to the emergency or project
that you designate. UMCOR's administrative costs come from other
sources, especially the United Methodist One Great Hour of Sharing
offering."

Typical asshole reply from a secular humanist "legend in his own mind"

Since United Way has started up this "anti-Boy-Scout" thing a decade ago,
they haven't got a dime from me. If they're anti-decency and pro-gay, I'm
not wasting my money there. Besides I know how they work. I had a friend
who worked on the inside one year and explained how it all got 'used'.
Never again. They can pry the money from my cold, dead hand, but they're
going to have to wait in line.
I've seen the inside of the United Way, also....and won't give a dime
to them.
The Salvation Army is my main charity.

Did you read this? From an article where 4 were hit by lightning, but
the last of the article which I've pasted below is what got me steamed.
"The Jamboree runs through Aug. 3, with President Bush scheduled to
speak Wednesday evening. Scouts ages 12-18 are to spend 10 days camping
in tents and taking part in activities that include archery, fishing and
a GPS-based scavenger hunt.
The Boy Scouts of America have held the event since 1937 with the next
gathering set for 2010, the Scouts' 100th anniversary. It may not be
held at Fort A.P. Hill, which has hosted the event since 1981.
A federal judge recently ruled that the Pentagon can no longer
financially support the event. If the ruling stands, the Boy Scouts
would have to find another location for their next gathering.
A lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois
contends that the Defense Department's sponsorship violates the First
Amendment because the Scouts require members to swear an oath of duty to
God."
Another reason we need to fire these judges and get some new ones.
