you wouldn't know a terrorist if you saw one. where do you get your news,
Fox? This administration is going to run this country even further into the
ground. Just keep 'em scared, ignorant and stupid.

BTW, Bushie's grandpa was bankrolling Hitler in the 30's, just for you
history buffs.

Who doesn't know this, "Mike"? You keep spouting this nonsense, like

Quite obviously you don't yet realize many of the things that are
obvious to the more informed,

Oh? What's so "obvious" that I haven't realized, "Mike"? Do you
think that a happy conclusion to the Iraq situation is "obvious"?

Incredibly, they don't even have the mental capacity to express doubt.
It's beyond me, how anyone could look at the Iraq situation and not
think that it MAY have been a bad decision to invade.

Let us stop the Bull, shall we?

Canada was sending troops to slaughter during both WWI and WWII long
before the US was involved!

The US tried to take Canada in 1812, and was pushed back by Canadians
under the flag of Britain!

The replacement for wood in construction will likely by steel studs (we
make them too) or plastic of some description (requiring more oil).
Heck, it might allow some of our forests to regenerate!

We are also the largest source of foreign oil for the US, not to mention
natural gas. So if we decide to turn off the taps and sell to Russia
instead, who knows what will happen to the price of your gas?

You mean to say Canada would have send all 5,000 of it troops and
both of its planes to help us if we just waited a few days? To
bad Canada is not still ruled by GB, as it was before W.W.II,
then you would have helped from day one ;)

You are damn right, we volunteered in droves. Every male in my

kicked their ass then and our volunteers will do it again. God
will continue to bless America for saving the world from the
tyrants, even if we need do it for those who could not do it for
themselves like the Polish, or would not, like the French.
Imagine what the world would be like today if the US, Brits,
Aussies and Russians had surrendered to the Germans like the
French. Imagine what the world will be like if the US, the Brits
and the Aussies walked away from this fight against the terrorist
of the world, like Canada, Spain and others are doing today! In
W.W.II we went into debt, as a percentage of GNP, to a far far
greater degree then we are today to defend ourselves. We come
back to be an even greater country and we will do it again. I
say to the pacifist of today as we did then, if you or your
country doesn't want to fight for yourself at least get the hell
out of our way so we can get the job done.

mike hunt

Mike, you are getting it wrong again!

Canada joined the fight in Afghanistan! Canada would have joined the UN
in the fight in Iraq, had the US waited a few days and joined the UN too!

The proposal by Canada would have had the UN entering Iraq, with guns
drawn, within a week of the day that the US entered! The US rejected
that proposal when everyone else was on board!

Nice try, but China wasn't the subject matter of Dan's post.

And if China wanted your oil, what's left of your military couldn't
do squat should they decide to take it.

Even though the US held off until Pearl Harbour before actively becoming
involved in WWII, no doubt the whacked out LIEbral demonrats at the time
probably criticized Roosevelt for "butting" into other nations' affairs.

Canada was part of GB when GB was attacked and therefore
involved. The US on the other hand was a neutral country
with no mutual defense treaty with GB, at the time, as GB had
with Poland and France. If you really that uninformed to believe
the the US did not help in Europe before 1941, you need to do a
search of the "Lend Lease" program and the thousands of American
"volunteer" armed forces fighting under the flags of countries
like Poland etc. with 'neutral' American supplied arms. ;)
