That is because Canada does not have military retirees. Can't
have military retirees unless you have a military. The US IS and
has always been your military, if not for the US military there
would not be a Canada. If not for
the US who would you sell too? If the number of newspapers
readers in the US declines any farther, and
a replacement for wood in construction is developed, the Canadian
government will need to develop trees into some sort of food
source. It is more likely the three western Provinces will opt
to become US states and the rest will become wards of the French
;)

country doesn't want to fight for yourself at least get the hell
out of our way so we can get the job done.

mike is right. Back in the 30's, most of the LIEbrawls in the U.S. and
Europe greatly UNDErestimated the Nazis. Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain
of the U.K. got sucked right in to believing that Hitler could be negotiated
successfully with. Similarly, the naive lefties of today just don't get it
that we are at war with radical Muslems EVERYWHERE.
