Look pal, I'll tell you what: you know what the number 1 cause of
accidents is? Trepidation. A driver decides to do something, then decides
against it, and then, sometimes, decides to do it after all. You know who
the biggest 'offenders' are? Around here, they drive BMW's Volvos, Benzs,
etc. I once saw a woman in a BMW drive in the left hand lane, making cars
pass her on the right, all the time ignoring the signs posted every 1/10th
mile saying "Left Lane Closed"...all the way right up to the VERY LAST
CONE, and then expected us all to stop so she could merge. That's just one
small example. There are TONS others.
So, do YOU have trouble makong your mind up in traffic? Make up your mind
and stick to it, because now every one around you is EXPECTING to do
something.
Oh, BTW, how about over 1M (um, that's MILLION) miles without a single
accident? |

According to the statistics in the Province of Ontario, the leading cause
is Speed Too Fast. That means speed too fast for conditions, not speed over
the posted limit. If you slide off the road and into the ditch at 30 mph,
they put you down as going too fast.
This is the reason the safety Nazis like to say "speeding" is the leading
cause of collisions. It's a lie, but you have to look at the stats to see
that. The media happily parrots the lie because it sells.

By the same token, rear end collisions are automatically thought to be the
result of following too closely and/or losing control of your vehicle.

I could fill a book with the DUMB-ASS things I have seen BMW, Benz, Lexus,
Infiniti, etc, etc drivers do over the course of over a million miles. Of
course, I have seen Buick, Old, Chevy and even Toyota drivers do some
dumb-ass things, but it seems the leaders are driving the exclusive luxury

in the middle of traffic and BACKED UP. Money but no brains.

(Apologies to everyone else here...)
Who the fuck are you to say I'm stupid? I know what I know. I have seen
COUNTLESS BMW drivers do the dumbest assed things I have ever seen in my
life. And with over a million miles, that's a lot of driving experience. I
used to drive 60 miles one-way to Connecticut, where there are a whole lot
of BMW's and most of the dumb-ass things I saw were done by BMW or M-B or
Lexus drivers. I made a statement, based on MY experience, that BMW
drivers are among some of the worst drivers I have seen. So, Here's a
substantiated fact:
BMW drivers have done some of the stupidest things *I* have ever seen!!!
Now, you got a problem with THAT, take it up with your shrink! Or have him
increase your Prozac.
So there!
