I discussed this before, a few months ago; about an old BMW drivers
getting themselves in dumab-ass situations from their own stupidity, and
then the BMW getting them out of it because it is, after all, the Ultimate
Driving Machine. BMW ran the ad about 10-15 years ago, for a few weeks,
until someone wrote a letter to the Ed. at Car and Driver pointing out
thet BMW drivers usually *DO* get themselves into these situations because
they have NO driving skill, and more money than brains. Hmmm....wonder who
that 'someone' could have been...
You're stupid.
Look pal, I'll tell you what: you know what the number 1 cause of
accidents is? Trepidation.
Unsupported claim #1.
I have driven over a million miles. I see it every day. That's enough
'substaniation' for me. Oh, and *I* support the claim fully.

Your support means nothing. I say you're wrong.

against it, and then, sometimes, decides to do it after all. You know who
the biggest 'offenders' are? Around here, they drive BMW's Volvos, Benzs,
etc.

| Quote: | I once saw a woman in a BMW drive in the left hand lane, making cars
pass her on the right, all the time ignoring the signs posted every 1/10th
mile saying "Left Lane Closed"...all the way right up to the VERY LAST
CONE, and then expected us all to stop so she could merge. That's just one
small example. There are TONS others.
Yeah? I have my own set of biased anecdotes, all of which are equally
unscientific.
I could fill a book with the DUMB-ASS things I have seen BMW, Benz, Lexus,
Infiniti, etc, etc drivers do over the course of over a million miles. Of
course, I have seen Buick, Old, Chevy and even Toyota drivers do some
dumb-ass things, but it seems the leaders are driving the exclusive luxury
cars. How about the BMW driver who missed her exit on the rotary, stopped
in the middle of traffic and BACKED UP. Money but no brains.

What seems to you is irrelevant, and your anecdote meaningless. Of
course, you're too stupid to understand that.
| Quote: | So, do YOU have trouble makong your mind up in traffic? Make up your mind
and stick to it, because now every one around you is EXPECTING to do
something.
Kook rant much?
Only when faced with someone who doesn't really pay attention, or Trolls.
|
Or someone who points out your false, stupid conclusions?
| Quote: | Oh, BTW, how about over 1M (um, that's MILLION) miles without a single
accident?
Irrelevant to the driving abilities of BMW drivers, dorky.
Totally relevant to observation and experience. Have I mentioned I have
driven over a million miles? Put that in your pipe and shove it...
|
Irrelevant to the driving abilities of BMW drivers, Kook. Learn how
to think.
