I had the same problem where my car would be ok until i opened her up and it would act as though the sparks are missing ,

After alot of changing parts it ended up being (this is where someone is gunna have to explain it)
a little pipe had come off i think it was from the side of the engine manifold to the exhaust , it only cost me about £5 to fix it in a garage but a lot of time trying to find it :-S it was a noticeable fix straight away Smile
