MR2 low fuel warning lamp |
|
|
has anyone got any idea why my warning lamp on my fuel guage isnt working,
i've renewed the panal bulb but still nothing, is it triggered by the guage
itself, or is there a seperate sensor in the fuel tank to trigger the lamp?
The car is a 1990 G-Limited Mk2.
Any useful info appreciated.
Steve.

Separate sensor in the fuel tank, mounted on the fuel pickup. |

Yeah, and I believe it means replacing the sender!

It's been a while since I looked at one but IIRC, it is built into the
sock/screen for the fuel pickup and separate from the sender. - Don't use a
match to look into the tank!
