I know that its common to put a vw engine in a 912. I am interested in
a diesel project and a mercedes turbo diesel or landcruiser Fj60 isn't
all that exciting. Thanks for the help

On fullthrottle they retrofitted 70's era beetles with new EMPI motors...
not sure what the milage was afterwards, but they were doing wheelies...
